This crotch mahogany dining table from the 1970’s had extensive water damage.
Here is the other area of damage that needed attention.
A full strip and refinish plus veneer repair was in order.
There it is! With a new hand rubbed finish it was ready for delivery.
American Empire chest of drawers 1850’s
In need of veneer work, and refinishing.
The final look. Brought back to its former beauty of days old.
Large solid Cherry draw table. Full open measurement is 10’. The leaves slide under the top and above the base. Top and leaves were stripped. Top was severely faded from sun damage and colored to match leaves.
Almost done. Final hand rub out is next with a coat of wax, then some touch ups on the base, detailing, and ready to deliver.
The End. In home and ready for years to come with friends, family and drink.
Walnut piano lid from the mid ‘70’s. It was a practice piano from Carnegie Hall. Extensive water damage which meant stripping the finish and getting down to raw wood. After that, many hours of careful removal of the staining, color matching to the existing piece, and a new finish.
